SC at Duke

Wow! Dawn Stanley and her SC team are the real deal. Great time management at the end of the game. They certainly deserve their #1 ranking.

Interesting you think that. It was a poorly played game by both teams. Very disappointing. Both teams combined for 40 turnovers. There were a lot of missed lay ups and open shots. And Duke, let's remember they lost to Texas A&M (who can't shoot 3's) and Nebraska (who doesn't have a point guard).
South Carolina defeated a good Duke team but they're not going anywhere because their point guard sucks and turns it over galore.
If Duke had a decent high school point guard, they would have won.
The only thing I was impressed with SC is their fanbase who traveled well to Cameron.

SC's insistence on trying to throw that lob pass inside almost cost them the game. Duke had that covered and got a ton of TOs from batting that pass away. I don't think SC completed that pass once in the last ten minutes. Wilson, their freshman post, is very impressive.

Still, they won and should stay in the number one position. Duke fans will probably be blowing up over losing this game.

Watched the replay. At halftime in studio, Kara Lawson was very complimentary of Texas and Coach Aston. Have always liked Kara, and she just went up a notch in my book!

I was more impressed with Kansas's victory over California today. Well done Kansas.
