SB breaks Big 12 run record!

I take it all back about no hit Texas softball. The team played #6 ranked Oklahoma today at home and unloaded for 15 runs. This is the most runs ever scored in a Big 12 conference game. The final score was 15-6 so we run ruled the Sooners in 5 innings.

It was awesome to be in the stands today. We play again tomorrow at noon. Do it again ladies!

OU down right now 7-6, in the top of the 6th.
Schroeder started for 2.1 innings, then Dez came in for 3, followed by BB for 0.1 innings, and now Erin T coming in to try to close the game out. Not looking as good today as yesterday.

Edit: Texas pulled it out, winning 9-7 over OU. UT got 12 hits in the game. What we could have done with that hitting a few years ago!

OTOH, our pitchers gave up 9 hits, 6 ER's 7 BB's and only 7 K's. Need to shore that up if you want to get into and through post season play. Big 12 does not look like it has any one dominant team this year, and pitching looks to be down all around. Will be an interesting conference season for sure.
