I recorded it and sped through all the presentations and commercials,
Editing in this way, I watched all the music and thought it was pretty varied and sometimes pretty good.
I enjoyed Mary J, Blige and Taylor Swift.
"Blank Space" is a decent song which had interesting choreography/presentation and Mary J. held the audience's attention when a lesser artist probably couldn't have on her song which was a big change of pace from the rest of the show.
Two other songs which wasn't familiar with stood out for me and caught my ear favorably.
One had the phrase "Why you gotta be so rude?"
I liked its reggae rhythm and the lyrical hook.
The other I really liked was Iggy Azalea doing "Beg For It."
I especially enjoyed her talent, her style and the stage presentation of her catchy song.
I thought it was the best thing on the show,
And I enjoyed the song where the three bad girls sang about giving up action in the back seat.
I'm glad that some things never change.
Nice to see Diana Ross.
Garth Brooks and J Lo were OK, but not as interesting to me as the other stuff i mentioned.
If I had tried to watch the show without being able to speed through the things I didn't care about, I wouldn't have liked it.
JMO. as a music fan who is much, much older than most who try to keep a little bit current about what's going on now.
