....and found it very entertaining.

Kind of a shockingly realistic mash up of "City of God" and "Quiz Show" with a Bollywood ending after everything gets decided.

I was sometimes reminded of the intimacy found in last year's "Once," while at selected other times this film had the scope of a classic like "The Grapes of Wrath."
I recommend it.
Nobody clapped at the end when I saw it, but everyone in the whole theater stayed and watched the dancing in the train station as the final credits rolled.
Liked the direction a lot, found the concept, screenplay and cinematography interesting and the acting fine.
If you didn't like the inscrutable, stoic Orientals acting in "Gran Torino," check out the emotional range of these thespians.
It was different, however, and I'm still deciding how this movie will rank with the Academy and/or myself as far as being this year's Best Picture.
