And was pleasantly surprised. Good acting (Hawke is really good in his role) and a well-written script. It is an intelligent horror film, and doesn't fall in to the same-old horror movie rut that so many have in the last few years. If you don't go see it, be sure to rent it when it comes out on DVD.

Yeah I think the guy who wrote this movie also wrote "Insidious" and I thought that was pretty good flick. I've been hearing good things about this movie too. I'm not too huge a horror fan but I do appreciate the genre. I guess when you're younger slasher flicks float your boat but as you get older you need something with more substance to it. I like the creepiness factor in a good horror flick. If you ever get a chance and don't mind subtitles you should check out some Korean Horror flicks. They have the creepiness dialed in. lol
