I wanted to see Gran Torino, BUT my wife and her brother wanted to see a comedy so i get dragged to this one.

I knew it wasnt going to be a good movie but i though it would at least be sort of funny.
Boy was i wrong. Horrible movie and not funny at all.
I cant believe that this piece of crap topped the box office with over $30 mil this weekend.

I also wonder if Kevin James will ever play a different character other than the 'little fat guy that we all feel sorry for but ends up on top at the end'.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER overestimate the intelligence of the average American.

Dukes of Hazard and Laverne and Shirley were at one time the most popular TV shows in this country.

The vast majority of our population are morons.

To be honest, I mildly enjoyed it. My 10 year old has been wanting to see this based on the commericials. However, he and his mother are suckers for slapstick humor. Personally, I'm not.

However, it was a very clean movie. It was like a Spy Kids or something a little more grown up. My whole family got to watch a movie together that wasn't animated. My 10, 5, and 3 year olds liked it. Even my 1 year old sat through the whole thing. Since there aren't many movies like that out anymore, I mildly enjoyed it.

It was a funny movie. Not stupid but silly.

For what it is (not a work of art or a vehicle for great actors) it is quite good.

#1 again this week

Somebody must like it.

Sadly, You are going to see more movies like this. It has already made $61 million dollars. Probably cost $8 million to make it. Nice chunk of change. Hollywood will make what suburbia wants to watch.

what the hell is so wrong with getting kicks from cheap laughs? some of you are too uptight.

fyi: i didn't like the movie either. i was going in knowing it was gonna be silly comedy, and even i wasn't entertained. a few good laughs, but that was it.
