......and enjoyed it for its sardonic wit, its quirkiness and a lot of deliciously disparaging humor about Oklahoma.

I don't think that many viewers have seen it, however for the right people it could be worth a NETFLIX rental.

Edward Norton is good in a dual role, so if you're a fan of his you'll get twice as much.

And Richard Dreyfuss is fun to watch too.

Writer/director/supporting actor Tim Blake Nelson's comedy/crime drama reminded me a lot of "Fargo" or even "Inglourious Basterds."

Well-written dialog, accurate regional color, good acting, sudden violence......

If you can forgive the thespian who plays an orthodontist for overacting in the climatic scene, kindly remembering how there was (definitely) better realized but still (undeniably) over the top stuff in those movies from both the Coens and Quentin Tarantino too, you might enjoy this flick on a slow movie day.

Watching it made me really appreciate how very excellent Ethan and Joel Coen and also QT are as movie makers (if you enjoy their styles) by seeing anotherwriter/director and his cast make a decent and thoughtful (although I admit flawed) effort at a pleasingly offbeat, intelligently clever, certainly quirky, plot twisting, Sooner skewering movie.

I found it entertaining.

Don't expect a masterpiece and you also might find this indie flick worthwhile.

Let me know.
