... and my wife and I enjoyed it, feeling we were in the target audience for this flick.

I believe those viewers who lived through the Nixon presidential years and the turmoil caused by Watergate will relate to this movie more than those who did not.

The Link

It's an entertaining memory and nostalgia work out for people around my age, but probably a less entertaining history lesson for those too young to have experienced those years and times firsthand.

I was favorably reminded of "All The President's Men" and also "The Queen."

Though well acted by Frank Langella, who here gives us a great portrayal of Richard Milhous Nixon and once gave us a modernized, even sensuous and sexy Dracula, and Martin Sheen, who played Tony Blair in "The Queen," and skillfully directed by Ron Howard, I don't expect this film to win any major Oscars, however it receives my hearty recommendation as certainly being worth a rental if you're either a survivor of the sixties/seventies or a history buff.

I could be wrong though, because I thought it was very good and even Oscar-worthy in lesser competitive company.

I enjoyed it and thought it was well acted. But I have always been fascinated by the inner workings of Nixon.
