.....and found it entertaining, full of thoughtful fantasy and realistic staged action and stage business, very well portrayed and directed, seemingly seamlessly shot and/or edited, nicely served by a spare, but a very suitable and a visually connected, musical soundtrack, possessing nice production design and boasting much evidence of movie making excellence both obvious and hidden.
The Link
In its own way, I found this movie as intense, interesting and innovative as "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," "Life of Pi" or "Her."
Or, indeed, as "Boyhood," a film which was very naturally and smoothly presented, while "Birdman" is so perfectly and stunningly choreographed.
I liked "Birdman" a whole lot and recommend it to those who seek and appreciate fine cinema.
Personally, it's one of my two favorite films from this year.
Thus far, "The Imitation Game" rates at the top for me.
Any thoughts?
