Saving Grace makes me sick

My favorite show on TV right now is Saving Grace on TNT, they slobber over OU because the show takes place in Okie City, tonight was an all time low, Barry Switzer shows up and Holly Hunters character drops to the floor and crosses herself like he is the freaking pope. Who ever writes that show need a kick in the ***.
 
Damn, I'm glad I wasn't watching last night. My wife had it on in the other room-might have lost a perfectly good TV.
At least there is one character in there that is a UT fan, though, and he has a UT coffee cup and other items on his desk. Not enough to outweigh the constant OU paraphenalia that is shown-I guess it is set in Oklahoma, and is an interesting show otherwise. That OU part bugs me every week-but it's one of the wife's favorite shows.
 
The lead writer is an OU graduate, which explains the OU slant. I don't watch the show, but have heard it's pretty good.
 
My mother called to tell me about this episode at midnight. The UT character holds his own though, intimating that he might shoot Switzer if he stares much harder. That's a good thing, I guess.
 
My husband watches it. I won't be in the same room with it.

Unless I could teach the TV to vacuum the floors ...
 
My gf just got the first season on DVD.

I really watch no TV (other than Longhorn related stuff) but I have sort of gotten into it.

Not a bad show at all.

One of the detectives is a former UT QB so, as you might expect, he gets plenty of ribbing.

I haven't seen the Switzer episode, though.

I like the theme song.
 
There was a good scene from the first season where the UT fan paid the bartender at the bar they go to for drinks to replay the 2005 RRS.
