I Have had it with Suddenlink and am thinking of making the switch. Wanted some opinions of dishnetwork and direct tv.
Thanks in advance.

I really like Directv. You can't beat the HD offerings. That being said, "customer service" in the cable//satellite industry is all bad with some being worse than others.

What di you normally watch? Do you live in house or apt.? What city? HD? DVR? VOD? PPV?

I live in a house and would need two HD DVRs. I also need two more receivers for kids and my office. I watch a lot of sports and have hbo and showtime. I live outside Conroe and would have to stay with cable for internet. My main problem with the cable has been the price and only getting fifteen HD channels. I spent too much on hardware to not watch in HD.

i have had Directv for years and recently upgraded to the boxes that have all the HD channels. I dont watch SD anymore except for some astros games where there isnt an HD broadcast.

getting the cable company out of my life was one of the most liberating experiences ever. Directv is great.

DirecTV hands down. Their HD content blows Dish and cable out of the water and they're launching another satellite this year.
