Satellite (DishNetwork) Question

Here's my question, hope someone can help.

I switched to DirecTV saturday for the Sunday ticket, etc. So now I have the following:

A Dish Network (Dish 500) Satellite Dish
A DVR Receiver with 100 hours, (mostly Family Guy episodes)
2 regular receivers w/ remotes

I'd rather not trash all this, and it would be nice to make some cash off it. So here's my question. With all the deals out there for free equipment, installation, etc, is any of this even worth a ****? If so, what could I get from it? I kinda want to put it on Craigslist instead of Ebay because of the awkwardness of shipping the dish itself. So on CL, I'd need to put a price, instead of letting the auction take care of it.

Also, is it cool to have someone else use it? How do the program cards work?

Any answers would help. Thanks.

I am about 99% sure you don't own that Dish crap. I called to cancel mine and they reminded me I had to ship the DVR back. The dish itself is worthless. The LNB is probably worth about $15.00.

That's what I thought, but I called to cancel it all and they guy said it was mine. After he said that, I figured it was fairly worthless. Back when I got it to begin with, I'm pretty sure I bought everything - way back before everything was free, so I'd be pretty pissed if I had to give it all back.

If you own the equipment, put it on ebay. People in Canada are buying older Dishnetwork stuff and paying pretty good money for it.
