Sat's game time moved to 6:30 due to high winds

How can you tell when the winds are high in Lubbock? When the sand aggy's cows have to be tethered to keep them from flying away, its still a normal day on the plains. So what constitutes winds so high you can't play baseball?

When the wind blows so hard you can't smell the cow **** fumes...that's when you can't play baseball either.

Sitting in the stands on Friday night, we had to frequently look down to keep the 30 mph dust from blowing into our eyes.

How the batters could see to hit is anybody's guess.

No team should have to play in those conditions. It's amazing that they even bother to play baseball up here in this high school ballpark.
