********. Auburn is the worst job amongst the P5 Schools considered football powers.

Look at some of their actions over the last 40 years:

1) Most powerful BMD goes public and throws his own daughter under the bus demanding the HC be fired for having sex with the daughter and refusing to marry her.

2) BMDs sneak out of town to interview and hire the "hot commodity" from a non P5 school. They leak the deal to the media before returning to Alabama only to find out that said "hot commodity" changed his mind before they got back to Birmingham, thus leaving them with a lame duck coach and no prospects.

3) I won't get political or theological, but who ever thought bringing in a "Scientist" would work in the Baptist Bible Belt?

4) Chizik, Malzahn, Harsin???

Have you ever been to Auburn? It's Clemson without the lake. Makes College Station look like Turks & Caicos. They will always be second to Alabama in the state and dismally lower for the rest of the South. Throw in that they are on the NCAA Ten Most Wanted list, and unless you are out of cash, why would you talk to them?
