Sark: The Man/The Coach

I'm a cautious guy; and after our last two coaches I'm trying to stay that way with Sark. But, it's becoming difficult.

On last night's "Longhorn Weekly," I heard things which have been missing for quite some time within our football program. Coach Sark displayed manly maturity and coaching competence in his discussions with Craig Way that seemed truly core driven. At one point, he even took the blame for Casey's last INT.

Again, after what we've been through the last X-amount of years, I'm not on the bandwagon yet, but I am hanging on to the rear axel and being dragged along rather comfortably.

The video below is about 17½ minutes. If you would like to watch the full show, Click Here.

I watch his press conferences and some of the stupidest questions are put forth by these reporters.
I keep expecting him to look at someone incredulously, chuckle and have some smart *** retort.
He doesn't.
He gathers his thoughts and answers the question in great detail as though it's the most important question of the day.
I hope his winning record equals what I percieve to be his character and integrity.
I want him to be our coach for awhile.
