Sark Offers Apology

It’s a sign that he’s not fully invested. Sorta of like his halftime adjustments.

Like when Strong messed up the coin toss. And then was told he was messing it up. And still did it. It’s a defect.

Question is, can Sark overcome his blunders?

I am one of his biggest supporters.
Am surprised and disappointed.
His apology did not seem real.
I agree it was not premeditated.
It was an emotional reaction to the loss. Not exactly an example for the team.
Very disappointed.

I want to. But how did he go from saying Jan 2021 ,"I know this much, 'The Eyes of Texas' is our school song," he said. "We're going to sing that song. We're going to sing that proudly."
To running off the field before the singing? Given the recent history that oversight is pretty big.

I am certainly not thinking he is like Herman and I am still 100% for him BUT I am disappointed.

I think he is under much stress given another loss while leading and the overall poor performance. He made a mistake and owned it. I respect other’s decision to not accept his apology.

ok
But you are not the head coach setting the tone for the team after a recent history of disrespecting our song.
You didn't say as head coach "I know this much, 'The Eyes of Texas' is our school song," he said. "We're going to sing that song. We're going to sing that proudly."
Did you?

The most important thing he was hired to do was win football games. He acknowledged his mistake and apologized. Move on to Cincinnati (K State).

In short, in my minority opinion, the much more important issues involve the 2nd half play calling and the poor tackling reappearing as I issues. If I was at the game, I would NOT have stayed for TEs with the OSU fans screaming f@“&k Texas in my ears. I hope you heard that on TV while the game was on.

I like the apology but it is a detail that shouldn’t be missed and could be glaring. Practices are planned minute by minute same as game prep and game post game. Apparently players like Bijan and Ewers knew and cared about it.
Patterson doesn’t miss that detail.

Phil.

Sorry to say you are wrong or at least partially wrong. Chris had that conversation before the wheels were up. He may have reiterated it Monday, but I imagine that the first conversation was by the light of the giant Conoco sign in Stillwater, and it was the one and ONLY time it needed to be talked about.

WTF peeps!

Sark has been here long enough to know despite emotions, TEOT before or after the game is NOT a skip option, especially for him !!!
