This man is an Elite recruiter, ye shall see.
Bijan is going to love this guy, just like he did Drayton.
I hated to see Drayton go, but we are good.

That's funny that Riley hired him two weeks ago and now he says, thanks but, no thanks
Heading for Texas.
Some of our horn fans are disgruntled with Choice for bailing on USC after just hiring him.
I say too bad. The man chose the best offer he had at that time, then he got a better offer and took it, just like most people would. And now he is much closer to mama. No hard feelings here.
I love good recruiters

Choice meets the requirements for me. Not that that matters:
Former NFL running back
Excellent recruiter
Relatable outgoing personality
Believes in accountability
Black, its helpful though not mandatory

Now if he can recruit linebackers and receivers also that would be superfragilisticexpialodocious.

Not impressed. GaTech appears to be 58th in rushing, 2,028 for the year, 169 per game. Did we hire a recruiter instead of a running back coach? He has been at GaTech for three years and that is the results?

Kingsbury did the same thing to USC.
Accepted the OC position then immediately said "Wait, think I'll go coach the Cardinals".

Rushing Stats are dependent on OL quality and health.

Bijans injury affected our rushing stats in the 2nd half of the season. As did a gimpy QB in sure.

I don't blame Stan for that.

Ivan- I didn’t see Choice show up in GT rushing stats
Based on stats- we should go after Kent States RB coach. Better yet North Texas RB coach.
And yes- his recruiting is going to be huge.

Don’t get mad, just trying to shed light on there is a bigger picture here than blaming a mediocre performance on one guy.
I know GT didn’t want him to go and I know USC wanted him badly. That’s enuf for a rookie like me to say I’m good.

Who is a better choice?

Did you leave "cali" out of spelling as a subbtel genius move?
:coolnana:
No
I haven't heard the word in a long time it just came off the top of my head and I just spelled it that way. However I did look it up and realized I did make a mistake so I thought about correcting it but I hate California so much I still left it out. Even if its not related. LOL

Not angry, fellas. Just looking at our stable of backs, including a Heisman candidate, incoming rb and wondering why this is a great hire. What experience does he have turning out great running backs? Three years at GT with mediocre results and hired by USC seems to be his resume. He just doesn’t appear to be a RB whisperer.
Also a Sooner.

DKR was born there. played QB at OU, and got the Texas job because of the recommendation of Coach Wilkinson

Mack Brown coached the Sooner offense one year; the year of that horrible monsoon game.

Choice had the choice to stay in a state with sky high taxes, or come to a state where his money goes further...or is it farther. I know the choice I would make. Good choice Choice!
