major bummer, knew it was coming, but still a bummer

honestly the only (non sports)show on TV i got pumped up about and set my DVR for

oh well
 
Yep, that really sucks. Summer Glau was half the reason I watched, but the show, casting and character development were really well done most of the time, especially the season 1 end with the Johny Cash song at the end.

Production seems to be gearing up for a Dan Simmons' Hyperion based movie. They now have a director. If they did the latter two books first, Summer Glau would make a good Aenea.
 
I watched every episode of this show, and was on the whole pleased. That said, I'm neither surprised nor particularly disappointed by its cancellation. They had a real problem with overall direction, and there are only so many hours you can watch of people being moody and not doing anything. Cameron (Glau) was by far the best thing about the show, and she was ridiculously underutilized... and I'm not just saying that because she is hot.

The concept of a turncoat terminators (not just co opted terminators) was pretty cool, and I wished they'd developed it better. Same goes with the revelation that the people coming back were from truly different time lines. They had a lot to work with, and I felt like they never made the most of their time.
 
Yes, the whole she and John Connor thing had alot more to unravel. It did kind of bug me that the actor looked like Keira Knightly, but that is another question.

Apparently, the production costs on the show were high, which played a role. But they had done a good job of character develpment with Cromartie into John Henry (and his mysterious brother), the chick from Garbage and even the little girl. However, I did not care so much for all the psycho-drama with blondie and felt that was a waste of screen time. Lastly, they left off with such an interesting twist -- that was a tough place to have to let it go.
 
Can someone remind me of the last show? Didn't John end up in the future and his uncle didn't know John Conner from Adam?

I agree that the show's direction was suffering last season and the girlfriend sideshow was a total waste of pacing but this was one of my favourites and I had no clue that cancelation was even in the cards. Not good.

To the question just above mine, is there talk of moving it to another channel?

I miss Summer already.
