Anyone play Towa or Cochiti lately? We are playing Black Mesa in the morning and wanted to see which of these would be our best option for an afternoon round..

Thanks for the help. Loved to play Las Campanas, but there is no way I could work a 4some through any of my connections out there.

I'm not having much success. I sent an email but I guess he didn't read it yet and unfortunately he went to the Turner Ranch with my son today. They will be back on Thursday. How long are you there?

Someone not in the know said both courses should be fine (and similar) this time of year. I wouldn't trust her opinion though.

We are leaving Friday, so if you hear back before then, that would be great.

For anyone who may ever be interested in doing a New Mexico golf trip, I will do a quick write-up when we return..

iamtiger,
My dad and brother and I are headed out there next Thursday. We booked a package through Golf on the Santa Fe Trail, staying at Sandia and playing Sandia, Paa Ko and Twin Warriors. Let me know how your trip goes.

played Sandia, Paako Ridge, and Twin Warriors on a trip last year. Enjoyed them all, but Paako Ridge rocked the house. It's quite a haul out there through the boonies from Santa Fe, but it was an amazing course. Could have played all rounds there.

Definitely a big fan of Paako. Playing to tomorrow morning before we head up to Santa Fe. Twin Warriors is a ***** of a course with all of the blind shots. Never played the course at Sandia, but used to stay at the casino when I was in town for business. Nice rooms and easily the best casino in NM..

Played Twin Warriors, Black Mesa and Paako Ridge this weekend:

Paako Ridge: Played all 27 holes on Friday. Course was in incredible shape. Greens were soft, fairways were great and the rough was grown up a few inches. Still my favorite in New Mexico

Black Mesa: Well worth the drive north of Santa Fe to play. Greens were extremely soft and in great shape. Fairways and rough were perfect. Course is target golf, so accuracy was key.

Twin Warriors: Course was in very good shape, though the greens were much harder than the previous two courses. Probably a bit overpriced, but it is typical for a resort course.
