Just booked a flight to San Francisco!

Any must-sees? We plan on Golden Gate of course, and Alcatraz.

We also don't have a car..how is the public transportation?

There was a pretty long thread discussing SF restaurants, but I think it expired. If you're a foodie, definitely visit the Ferry Building Marketplace. For Italian, dine a Tommaso's. Fisherman's Wharf is of course very touristy but you should visit at least once and have some clam chowder in a sourdough bowl.

Have a great time in one of the best cities in America.
