San Diego Trip

My wife and are heading to San Diego for a wedding in May we know about Coronado Island and seeing that but any other suggestions for things to see?

We aren't really wanting to do attractions like the zoo or sea world that would eat up a whole day but if there are cool things to visit and see would love suggestions.

might want to take a trip North to La Jolla (15 miles North of San Diego). Beautiful area, good food, nice shopping, seaside picturesque, etc.

Just came back from SD/LA road trip. The seals @ the La Jolla beach are definitely worth seeing.

USS MIdway. You can go for a couple of hours if you choose. If you've never been on an aircraft carrier, you should do it. Awesome.The Link You can also board a whale watching or harbor cruise boat close by.

At this time last year, we stayed in Carlsbad so that it would be easier to go between SD and LA. We did the flower fields, temecula, gas lamp district (I think), Coronado, a Lakers game, and some other LA stuff. We also drove to vegas for a night. Good times.
