Anyone heading out to San Diego for CC? My husband and I will be on our way out there tomorrow for our first trip, seeing if any other hornfans will be out there as well.

I had my 4-day Dealer Pass all set but just am travel'd out with work. Was going if I hadn't spent the fortnight in Omaha. You'll have a great time, especially if it's your first. Be sure to grab a bite outside the hall in the Gaslamp District.

Hope you had your pass before you went out there because that thing is sold out well in advance and I don't think they sell tixs at the gate anymore.

Bought 4 day passes back in January. We've been having an amazing time so far. Played some of the new Halo game which was awesome and seen some great panels and booths. We are currently in line for the LOST panel. We've been in line since 3:30am but the LOST panel was a big reason we came, should be awesome.

Make sure not to miss the booth for:

Two out of the three guys putting this thing together used to be roommates of mine in LA. They're both from Dallas and one went to UT.

I think it takes the premise of all of the horror movies from the late '70s to today where the bad kids (promiscuous kids) always seem to get killed and the pure kids (virgins) are the only ones who live... but really, I'm not totally sure. I've been out of the country for a while.

But BUY the comic book (a.k.a. "graphic novel").

Yep, but I've always heard that Comic Con is crawling with these kind of dorks:

And these dorks are the only reason that I would even find myself down there. (Oh wait, I don't live in LA anymore. So San Diego is UP there.)

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it at least once. Yup, there are scantily clad cuties all over that huge hall. It's full multi-media now so there's probably a reason for anyone to go at least one day if you're in the area. And if nothing else, it's one of the most interesting places on the planet for 4 days for people watching 'cause there are some fun ones running around San Diego this weekend.

We are nerds big time and damn proud! What a crazy and fun 4.5 days it has been. The LOST panel was amazing and worth the wait. I can't wait to go back again. We're heading back to Austin tomorrow with all the ridiculous stuff we bought.

The babes of comic-con

There are several I don't care for, but #34 should not be included and never should have been snapped.
