who's going to these games? I got my tickets ordered yesterday. Should be a couple of good games. It will be interesting to get a look at Tech and Tenn so early in the year before we play them. And, of course, I want to get a good look at Maya Moore. It will probably be my only chance to see her in action live.

Bab, got the Link?

I can't find the link!!

anyway, I got send to ticketmaster.com and had to put in "AT& T Center" as the location and just scrolled down until the game came up.

I don't think this was where I got the link but it has the ATT Center phone number. (links don't work as listed--I tried them).

I have no idea about a Texas section. I got tickets in Section 2, Row 1. Great seats, very similar view to the ones that I have at the FEC (just to the side of one basket. Supposed to be courtside level 2 seats, whatever that means.

Orange, would you mind posting the section for Texas fans so others can know what to ask for? Thanks.

awesome, thanks for the heads up Bab. i didn't know we could buy tickets already. i'm definitely there.

and yes, Orange, please post any info you have about the Texas section. i want to be sure and get tickets in the right section.

If you click on Best Available, you can get in Sec. 22, which is dead center....

That'll be me...

It said that Texas/tenn was section 10. uconn/tech was 6 I believe. It was to the top right of the page-right above the map of the att center on the ticket master page.

I got my seats in section 22 also because I don't want to sit by a bunch of tenn fans

section 22...i'm down for buying tickets in that section, as well. i'd rather stay out of the mixed UT section. i'm sure it will be a lovely mix of burnt orange and whatever orange color Tennessee is.

i saw that the first game starts at 5:30. anyone know if they have decided the schedule -- which game is first? i'm really hoping Texas/UConn will be the 2nd game of the night.

The AT& T Center is new since I left Austin. I'm assuming that most of you bought parking when you bought tickets to the game. Anyone know if there is lodging near the center? Thinking of heading down from Portland to see the games.

Closest I see, do an AT+T search on Google

Travelodge San Antonio At&t Center / I-10 East

The Link
A friend of ours is staying at this Comfort Inn. He said it was within a mile & a half of the at&t center. Don't quote me on that because I didn't check it out.

There are quite a few hotels on I35 which is just a couple of miles from the AT&T center. There aren't any hotels within walking distance - and you wouldn't want to be walking after dark on the streets around the arena anyway.

I understand you all wanting to stay out of the TN section...but, c'mon, you know their fans will be cheering for TX....they HATE uconn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am on the ticketmaster site, purchasing my tickets. and it looks like they changed up the team sections. now it says...
Tennessee and UConn are in Section 10
Texas and Texas Tech are in Section 6

i'm still planning to buy tickets in another section, but i just wanted to give a heads up to those who may have purchased tickets in Section 10

If anyone else gets their tickets let me know. We haven't gotten ours yet but I'm not worried since it's so far away. However, if everybody on here gets their order then I guess I'll have to call. Especially since we all ordered around the same time.

not yet...I keep going back & forth on it. When we went last time it was in SA our seats weren't that great & we were comletely surrounded by uconn fans.

The main thing that is holding us up right now is that it is Easter weekend. I hate when that happens.

I selected the option to print my own tickets, so I won't be able to speak to the timeline for receiving them via snail mail.
