San Antonio Double Header

Has anyone heard the dates for the TX/UCONN and Tennessee/Baylor weekend?

Certainly not positive about this info., but i think the other game was changed to TN vs. TTU...and saw somewhere that it would be played on Nov. 17th. Like i said, not positive about that!!!!

That would be disappointing. Having Griner at that double header would be one of the highlights of the weekend.

The original article was definitely changed from Tennessee playing Baylor to Tennessee playing Texas Tech. UConn/TX stayed the same. I haven't heard a date yet. Agree, would rather see Griner up close and personal myself.

they mentioned the double-header in this article from Big12Sports.com. the article is pretty interesting read. it talks about Big 12 teams having to re-group after each conference game, whether it's a win or a loss, because this conference is so dangerous. no game is a guarantee.

To prepare to host the 2010 Final Four, San Antonio is planning on hosting a big-time double-header next season.

The details haven't been finalized, but it appears that Texas will face Connecticut and Texas Tech will play Tennessee on Nov. 17 at the AT&T Center. The twinbill will be televised by ESPN, which should make the official announcement in the next few weeks.
