Sam is a great guy, loyal Longhorn and has great heart. I guess the legacy is he was great amongst ****** support around him and abominable coaching.

Wait, don't people still say Texas won in 2005 because of Vince Young? Colt carried the team to some its victories when he was at Texas. Ehlinger is great but should have been able to rally the troops more. Just the way I see it.

Have I mentioned...great guy, true and loyal Longhorn. ****** players around him. So, I'm just kidding around in the first part of this. VY and Colt didn't do it all. Ehlinger needed help and rarely got it.

Sam has carried this team, and could have carried it to greatness; unfortunately Sam could not carry the extra weight of the puppeteers, which none of his predecessors had to deal with.
