Yep, same guy... he has been mainly a minor leaguer since he signed out of high school, with a few different short stints in the majors. He was called up by Boston early this season due to some injuries and he's been with them all season I think. He's played quite a bit but not every day. In his first game with the Sox I think he hit a walk-off homer.
