Sam, GJ, Brandon J: all hands on deck

I'm confident Sam will play against OU, but I don't know how strong the shoulder will be. A big part of our success against OU earlier this year was Sam's ability to run AND throw effectively. He's got to play better next week than he did against KU.

GJ: I'm assuming a "one game suspension," as it was framed, is just that, and that GJ will be back next week. We could use a big game out of him.

Brandon J: especially hopeful that he can go against the Sooners. Clarification on his status may take longer than the others.

Other: are there others whose status is questionable for OU? I understand Shack and Taquan are banged up, but both should be good to go.

33 was on the sideline of the KU game. Found that surprising. Suspension must have not been that bad.

present on the sidelines (in street clothes) is a good sign. thanks, mchammer. i'm cautiously optimistic re: GJ's availability.

GJ's screw-up must have been either during the transit to Lawrence or after they already got there, otherwise he wouldn't have traveled.
