On the one hand...maybe I was being too harsh....But on the other...Unlike us, these guys should be professionals getting paid for more and better. To be fair...I'll give Acho some time and say guess jury still out on him...And in his and others defense, they really don't pay for shrewd/insightful and meaningful journalism anymore...They pay for personality, acquiescence/
propaganda, provocation, and entertainment.
Its 99% trash IMO.
I guess I have a rosey/nostalgic view of days of media/journalism gone by and, though there have always been egos, it seemed there was a day a commentator/journalist/media guy tried to provide more than just pompous, subjective opinion....and that is about all we get today.

As to your point...I'm not sure there was ever a "better day" on hornfans. We still maintain the very high mark of purely objective, deeply penetrating, thoughtful and intelligent...not to mention precisely accurate...discovery and analysis as was always the case.

What is this ESPN of which you speak?

There USED to be a network that was known by that but I am unaware of a sports network using those letters anymore. There is some political talk network under those letters...
