apparently their marketing strategy is to piss every potential customer the f off. Worst commercial ever.*

I'm already sick of the pizza delivery guy dropping off the sandwich at the shub shop while they sub employees manager is there.

they only show it about twice a quarter

Arghh...the commercial came up right after clicking on this thread. I don't even remember what the original song sounds like anymore.
 
i hated this song when it came out.. i sure hate it now.

i won't watch it. i mute or change the channel every time.
 
I hate that it gets stuck in my mind after I hear it on tv. I try to be quick enough to mute it or change the channel.

OTOH, I think those "Trust me - I'm a doctor" commercials are clever.
 
Commercials suck around this time of year, then of course get better at Super Bowl time. I hate every commercial that was mentioned on this thread.
 
Any freecreditreportdotcom commercial is sickening. My soul dies a little every time I hear it. That reminds me though, I need to check my credit.
 
That stupid sprint commercial with the "product placement" chick flick makes me want to brutally murder someone with a blunt object.

I'm willing to bet that I'm not the only one who thinks I would be a waaaay better "advertising genius" than most of these people who have jobs and come up with these commercials. McDonalds commercials are by the worst. I just don't get how someone actually comes up with some of these ad campaigns, and then gets paid nicely for it.

As a representative of the advertising world I will say that all of these commercials you have named are horrible. But you have to remember that lots of times these clients don't give a **** about how fun and/or creative the ad is...so don't just blame the ad wizards.

But either way, those commercials suck. But that $5 subway one works like a mother ******.
 
The executives at Toyota, Burger King, Subway, FreeCredit, Sprint and McDonald's are all smiling right now at the thought of this thread.

Their commericals worked.
 
Yes, because me spending $0 at Burger King, Subway, FreeCreditReport.suck, Sprint, and McDonald's is exactly why they're throwing millions of dollars into those campaigns.
 
I wouldn't mind it so much, but last night during MNF they showed that Toyota spot three times - yes THREE times - during one commercial break.
 
I think the Brooke Shields VW commercials are ok. Mildly entertaining, even.

i know they are bit old.. but the CarMax commericals are pretty good..

Shrunken heads, fire rings, etc.
 
I didn't like the song in the 80's and like it even less than the 00's. I could come up with better themes / commericials than this... don't know how much, but Toyota is overpaying $$$ millions to their ad agency for crap like this.
