S. Padre hotel help needed

My girl friends and I are planning on going to South Padre Island. We stayed at the Island Inn 2 years ago when we went, but we are not wanting to stay at the same place again. We were looking at the Bahia Mar. Has anyone ever stayed there, and if so, was it okay? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I stayed there before. Its nice.

If you are going with a group of girls, I'd suggest the Sheraton. The pool/hot tub is 24 hours, there is a float up bar, and access to the beach is right there in front of you.

I have stayed there before and I would definitely stay there again.

Sheraton should be your first choice, followed by the Radisson. Bahia Mar is kind of old and nasty. Plus its far from everything.

Grew up in the RGV, and frequented many of the hotels/condos in Padre. Sheraton hands down. Sunchase (behind mall) also not terrible.

we used the people over last spring break to find a place. they have a number of options and the website is easy to use.

i always stayed at the sheraton when we went there for spring break (and other ****). not that it ******* mattered. we just needed a place to pass out, and occasionally shower.

The Sheraton has the best pool scene and is close to Louie's, Wahoo Saloon, etc. Sheraton is the place.
