Anyone been to the new Costco at MoPac and Wm. Cannon? Does it have the attached alcohol sales next door that doesn't need a membership card?
Also, how's the store?

Answering my own post. Checked it out today. Seems a little bigger than Sam's, but same stuff. Prices seemed to be the same? It does have the attached liquor store where a membership is not needed. 90% of the bottles were 1.75 liter bottles. Here's two examples, 1.75L of Tito's is $23 and a 1.75L of Captain Morgan is $20.

I was there today, too. It was surprisingly empty, actually. There were a few things I couldn't find there that I just saw at the north location last week, but other than that, it was fine. Layout is slightly different than the north location.

Oh, they were playing the 2006 Rose Bowl on all the display TVs. That was kind of cool.

we have a membership there. i did it mostly for a tailgate that we do with some friends; their cases of beer are like $16.50 for ML and BL. but other than that there seems to be alot of stuff that i don't need or want. then again we don't have a grill yet (still in an apt) so i have yet to shop for meat there.

I'll take Costco over Sam's any day to prevent The Evil Empire from expanding their hold.

Plus, I've heard Costco pays their employees more & provides health care benefits.

I like to vote with my wallet.

costco also offers a very generous return policy. if you buy a tv and 3 years later if you don't like it, you can return it and get a new tv. i think that is how it works...
