I know everyone thinks we are going to get killed, but that is why they play the match right?

Anyone think we have a sporting chance to pull off the upset?

I think we have a chance, and not just a "you might get struck by lightning" one either.

I'd like to think we can win, but with 6 rookies, no Tiger, and the roll that the Euros are on I just don't see it happening. It would be a miracelous win if we could pull it off.
 
I don't understand why the PGA schedules the Ryder Cup on courses that are not "part of the circuit". Courses that are used once 4-5 years for majors. If the US really wanted to help themselves, why don't they choose regular tour stops to stage the Ryder Cup like the Europeans do. Local course knowlege has to help significantly, one would think.
 
have to be happy with the results so far but Fuyrks (sp) team blew it this morning. 2 up with 2 to play and they bogeyed 16 & 17 to give back 1/2 of that could be critical on Sunday.
 
Yah..furyk and perry blew it..but you have to LOVE the Texan's play so far. Both Mahan and Leonard are playing lights out..pickin each other up at times and really dominating. They need to be paired up again tomorrow, as Mick and AK do. Lovin what Im seeing out of the US..

this is slipping away 1/2 pt at a time. How bad can Phil play for how many Ryder Cups and still be considered a valuable player? He's given more pts to Europe in his career than he's won for the US
 
I don't really follow golf regularly - is Kenny Perry the guy who got criticized for playing to make the Ryder cup team and not entering majors, or something like that? Looks like he came through today.
 
Yes, Kenny was criticized but to me it shows his level of dedication and pride. He's also a local.
He has been playing very well this year and I am glad he is part of the team.
Now kick sum A$$ boys!!!!
 
Phil needs to fake an injury in 2010. 3 pts out of a possible 14 in the last 3 Ryder Cups. Wow.
 
Loved watching this weekend. What a blast. That looked like the most fun we have had as a team in years. Boo Weekly doin the bull dance, feelin the flow!!?? How f'n funny. That pissed the brits off so much and just made it that much sweeter.

Also..found this pic of J Leonard sportin his T ring at the gala on wed..pretty cool..
