Running backs on this team

Vondrell struggled but to say he is not promising is dumb. He is only a sophomore and was a 4* recruit. He won't be the best RB UT has had but give him time. He could be come a very good back especially if the OLine continues to improve.
 
Between Vondrell and Fozzy right now, I'd say Vondrell's better. Sure, Fozzy looked better in the game against UTEP, but then again, that was after they stopped barricading us w/ blitzes. Right before Fozzy went in, UTEP kept blitzing, and Colt showed them it was a bad idea as he sailed passes over their heads. When they started laying off of blitzes, Fozzy got into the game. Vondrell went in early.. when they were still blitzing every play. It's unfair to say Fozzy played better when he had the clear advantage in his runs. Stat-wise, Fozzy was amazing, but I don't think it'd have been the same story if they two switched playing periods w/ eachother.

In a few more weeks, I'd say Fozzy would be better than Vondrell as is. Fozzy is still fresh, and will get better w/ experience. By all means, Fozzy is currently a better homerun hitter than Vondrell from his agility, but he just doesn't quite have the experience Vondrell does, and won't be as consistent w/ his runs as Vondrel would be.
 
The running backs are good but I believe Texas needs to have an Elite RB. We missed out on Darrel Scott. I dont think Chris Whaley is the answer either.
 
We did real well with Benson, and imo, McGee has the potential to be better than Benson. Fozzy could be better than both of them. Ogbanaya is a very good reciever and a serviceable runner. We also have a big back who hits the hole instead of trying to break every run outside. We are looking just fine at RB.

books are great. read the long stuff. packs more story, not great for a busy world, but more story, which makes it great in pure value, a skeleton question you can hang meat on until it speaks to you the answer, or answers, or riddle you back. or haiku your *** like dis right heyuh.

YES. Cody Johnson for one. Vondrell is a fine backup and can spell Fozzy. Cody is damn good and needs more carries.
