Rumors of a Silent Commit?

OrangeBloods is reporting that Texas has a silent commit at a position that will now be stacked for years to come. He couldn't reveal the name as the commit apparently wanted to inform the other staffs recruiting him before announcing. Don't know if it's 2013 or 2014 recruit or position either!

Eric Nahlin at Inside Texas has also confirmed that there indeed is a secret commit and we probably will know within the next few days.

i would put my money on Heard.

Now the big question is whether or not a decision could be coming?

"I'm going to talk to my parents tonight and talk about the schools I'm really interested in and hopefully I can make my decision soon," Heard said.

Heard has short list and will make decision soon.

Entering the visit the Longhorns were thought to be in a good position and after returning home Heard says he has the Longhorns and two others high on his list.

"Texas, LSU, and Ohio St. Those are the top three right now. That's the order," Heard said.

Funny you mention that because at one point, the boys at 247Sports have him, or at least HAD him as a possible Okie St. lean... then again, I have no idea!

I can't find any video of KD Cannon playing. I wanted to take a look at him. But I couldn't help but notice he's only 155lbs. That seems very small to me for a blue chip recruit. If he's a 2014 then no big deal as he still has time to grow a lot. But if he's in the 2013 class he won't be much bigger in a year. Maybe that's not a big deal either as he probably would redshirt his freshman year.

Boys,
The Heard commitment is a game changer... it will turn more heads from receivers to O-lineman on just the Offensive side alone! The 2014 class is picking up right where 2013 is leaving off... wait, 2013 is NOT thru!!!

H-D, recruiting is like a game you know. You want to get that momentum in a game and getting a recruit like this does just that.

I'm close enough to drive over and see Heard play a game or two this fall...and I plan to. Guyer's got an interesting schedule, starting off with Cedar Hill, which ought to be a great game itself.

Count on it. I'm also close enough to watch Swoopes play, and I intend to check out at least one of his games and see how much he's improved over the summer.
