R.J. you sure about that 10-3 vs top 50. We lost 5 to the Kansas schools and they are both in the top 50 I believe.>>nope, take that back. Kansas is out of the top 50. My mistake.
 
Keep it going. We have six (hopefully not five) games left until the tournament!

You are both correct. The true W-L should be as per the number of games.

On the other hand, in baseball, everybody loses some and everybody wins some - as in the classic saying that MLB is a 62 game league. Everybody wins 50, and everybody loses 50, and the record in the remaining 62 is what matters!

11-6 against top-25 translates to something like a 105-57 MLB season, which is a dominating year by a real championship contendor. In say football, a 11-6-1 would be rather ordinary - struggling into the playoff with 10-5-1 and losing the wildcard playoff.

Just fun items to think of, as we now wait for a good few days with no serious baseball for the horns.
