Hell, I knew the whole time I was growing up in Texas and going to school at UT and enjoying brewskies at Schultz's, and barbecue and Mexicon food in Austin, and being down on 6th Street.. hell, man, I knew all along over the years that Iraq's future was of paramount importance in my life.
You knew this from the time you were a kid. Knew it on Sat afternoons at the matinee, knew it on Friday Nites at the football game. Just knew it deep down in your bones. Just knew how important the political lives of Iraqis was to you and yours, your family and your kin, all throughout Texas.
Hell, I remember fishing and water skiing, and squirrel huntin' an thinking about it.. me and the guys would talk, even playing Monoply and mumbly peg... "Hey, one day Iraq will have the way of life they deserve. We're gonna see to it. I just know it's gonna happen one day. Some how. Some way."
On the way home from evening twilight servce after BTU (Baptist Training Union, for those who don't know), I got the vision it was gonna happen some day. And now here it is. Thank the Lord! My life is complete.
