Roofing materials, are they getting cheaper?

Anyone know with construction slowing down, have roofing materials for re-roofing a house become less expensive. I have my primary home and 2 rentals that had some hail damage last year. Because cost were soaring back then i have waited to get the work done. On all homes, i could wait for years before fixing. i figure since the insurance company has already given me the money for repairs i better do them.

With 400,000-500,000 homes/roofs damaged by Ike, I doubt any building materials will be dropping in price anytime soon.

I would think the drop in oil prices (vs their peak) will help somewhat.
