He was NOT offsides on that play when he was 10-15 yards behind the defense. The replays showed that the leadfooted defender on the other side was behind him when the ball was kicked.

C. Ronaldo makes that goal only about 98% of the time. ManU was jobbed on that play. Yet another reason NOT to rely on refs for offsides calls, but rather have computers determine it at the highest levels.

The human element is supposed to be about the players, not the refs. They're supposed to be invisible. Computers would help make that a reality.
