As i mentioned in the Trooper / Luper to Auburn thread, Auburn is going to start recruiting Texas and Chizik is wasting no time. So much for Rollison being an Okie Lite lock. I'm actually glad to see there is another player for talent from Texas. I don't think Auburn will target kids in state that Texas is after, Chizik has so much as said so. I am going to enjoy seeing Auburn and OU go head to head for some of these recruits though. Guess Coach IMAMAN screwed up when he put limitations on staff interviews a few months ago.

this a publicity win/win. Rollison commits to a big time program to look cool and Auburn ups their recruiting profile/perception when all the class rankings come out.

Not sure what the deal is. My understanding is he has a 3.0 gpa but didn't perform well on the ACT. Hell he only needs a 17 to qualify for Auburn. Luckily he has 3 more chances to make the grade. i think he'll end up pulling it off. Once the recruiting circus is over, hopefully he finds time to focus and get the numbers up on the ACT.

Well we can't get everyone and if Auburn can give LSU, Oklahoma, USC and others from getting talent here more power to them.

What kind of trophy generation student gets a 3.0 GPA, but can't get a 17 on the ACT.

Grade inflation has taken over. A 3.0 used to mean something.
