And give Chef Paul the news...

Slap Ya Mama powder blows 'em both away. Has more of a kick and much less salt than either, especially Tony's.

I killed (& not in a good way) 3 whole chickens that I'd smoked... never used Tony's as a rub & was experimenting.

Bad idea... way too salty. WAY.

Tony's is available in a SALT FREE form. This is the only Tony's that I use, but the stuff is great because you can use the desired amount without your food becoming too salty.
I haven't had the other mixtures so I can't compare, but the Salt free Tony's blows doors off the regular stuff.

I sprinkle that Fiesta-brand Jalapeno Salt on just about everything that I eat. Even stuff like clam chowder.

I use texjoy for my land animals and tony's and slap ya mama for seafood. IMO the best thing to use to really give it a kick is sprinkle A LITTLE texjoy crab boil powder on stuff. Its powerful, but goood.
