Spot on. Don't always find Kelso amusing or agree with him, but he nails it here. This thing has become just another for-profit yearly windfall and this type of ridiculous lawsuit is an example of how their perspective has changed. Used to be all about showcasing obsure talent with a local and statewide appeal and it has devolved into a week-long money grab and actions like this.

because if they don't aggressively pursue infringements on their name, they give up the right to go after others that would infringe on it for much less harmless pursuits.
