Brown had not scored when Ricky dove for the block.
That was the only way Ricky was going to get in front of the guy for a legal block.
However, there was no way Brown was going to be caught at that juncture.
I just think Ricky was caught up in the play and trying to make sure his teammate scored.
I saw the play and it was definitely a questionable block, but for anyone to call Ricky "dirty" is a joke. I was just glad to see Ricky busting his *** to get down the field to help his "competition" in the backfield get into the endzone. **** em Ricky, keep it up!
I wouldn't even say the block was questionable. The play was live. Now Vrabel probably wasn't going to make a play on Brown making the block potentially uneccesary but it was clean and legal no matter how you look at it.
This is partly just a case of a whiner who has been used to being on top of the football world for the past several years who's team was just trounced -- thoroughly -- by the team that has been the worst for the past two years.
There's gotta be someone else to blame. I mean, we can't be that bad, can we? Yeah, we lost because Ricky Williams is a dirty player, not because our defense couldn't stop the Dolphins.
Not surprising at all that the Patriots turn into whiny ******* when they get their faces kicked in. Last year all we heard was about how their opponents should shut up and play football. Well guess what? Harrison needs to shut up and play football.
