Rock Band 2

Was watching a stream of someone playng an early release- Austin is one of the cities for World Tour Mode. Curious if they have real venues on there.

I don't understand how/why there is a such thing as Rock Band 2. I thought you could just buy songs a la carte now to add to Rock Band 1.

Really? You don't understand? Not sure how to explain something like that to you if you don't already know. You must not play videogames.

For starters they are changing the drums to include cymbal pads. There will be many more features in the new game that will be an improvement, plus you can import all the rock band 1 songs that you bought as well.

That was unnecessarily harsh, dude.

We bought Rock Band 1 at release and have played the hell out of it. Hoping that the drums weren't the only thing upgraded (had 3 guitars that were broken when we got them--the guitars are unusually fragile).

the only reason I questioned your question is that it just seems naive that someone wouldn't think that they would make a sequel to one of the most successful games ever.

thats why you have like 6 guitar hero games with a new one coming out soon.

sorry if i was harsh

The Austin "locales" are: Sweatys BBQ, The Bison Room, and Echo Hangar
Vocal pickup is much better so far. North American gigs have been disappointingly easy on expert guitar and bass.

No Fail mode, so you can play more with people that may not play often, probably the best new features. Whenever we have people over to play Rock Band it's fail city on the drums
