Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero 4?

I am only buying the game not all the instruments. Which game is better? Which has a better list of songs?

a lot of the songs are the same. for the most part i liked rock bands charts MUCH better.

guitar hero seems very rushed. the menus and interface are absolutely terrible. i would say this is the worst GH in the franchise.

If you have Rock Band 1, you get to use all those songs (including the DownLoads) on RBII. I think I read that this comes to like 500 songs.

Depends on quite a few things. I'd check the two songlists (I generally think Guitar Hero has better songs and is charted better). If you've got Rock Band 1, you can import all your songs and DLC into Rock Band 2. That's a big bonus.

Everything said about the interface being awful for Guitar Hero is spot-on though.

Music creator in Guitar Hero is a lot of fun- got to play the Chocobo song from Final Fantasy that someone put together last night!
