FWIW, Billy Cannon's Hype$man has been on display in TJ's Ribs & Steakhouse in Baton Roue for decades. Story (true or not) is that the owner loaned Cannon some money and took the trophy as collateral. According to owner, Cannon never came back, paid back, or asked for it back.
It would seem Robinson feels "disconnected" from that championship team, just as Cannon did from LSU since he sent his son to aTm. Does anybody remember the hit Chris Duliban got on Junior on that punt? Clue: Junior did not get up.
