I was already familiar with this Hollywood director's work, having seen almost all of the movies he made.

But I recently saw them listed in their entirety on NETFLIX and was taken aback and impressed by the scope of his movie making catalog:

"Citizen Kane," 1941. Film editor.
"The Magnificent Ambersons," 1942. Directed some sequences, uncredited.

And Robert Wise directed:

A great filmmaker. Directed many of my all-time favorites incl Blood on the Moon, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Run Silent Run Deep, West Side Story, The Haunting, and The Sand Pebbles.

I remember seeing The Sand Pebbles in high school at what was then one of the top theatres in Houston, the Windsor (giant screen, luxury seating, etc). The female lead was a very young Candice Bergen; talk about a looker! When she was young she had to have been in the top ten of the world's most beautiful women.
