They've put out lists before where I've questioned some of the people on there (and why certain people were not on there), but this is a really ****** list. Seems like their lists have really started to decline over the past 2-3 years.

I don't even know how they come out with lists and stars this early. I thought they usually had their mini-combines in June and then the ratings started to come out later in the summer after they evaluated those workouts with the game film across the country. Now they had a top 100 list before Christmas, a top 250 list before the end of March, and we're supposed to give a ****. I don't.

It is a rush job now, as more and more coaches are doing the recruiting process during the Jr seasons, including Mack. The list and rankings will change at least 4 more times this year. I think a lot of great talent is missed getting commits this early, but Mack believes in it, so who am I to question.

That may be true. But Mack at least sees them in person and the coaches evaluate them. I don't think Rivals has even seen many of these kids play or in person. They haven't had their workouts with them yet. I think this has more to do with Rivals trying to get more lists out there to satisfy eager subscribers...especially since more and more schools are grabbing kids early and now the subscribers want to know how highly rated those players are and thus how their class is shaping up....unfortunately these early lists are very inaccurate and this needs to be remembered. It is all subjective to begin with but I would think you at least wait until a large majority of the data is in before you make conclusions.
