of all things to sell with sex, fast food? first the "lets make a jack sandwich" one and now i see one where a guy wakes up with "morning tongue". i'm not even counting the carls jr ads since they don't air in tx.

are people really that single minded that sex will make anything sell better?

also, did i spell risque correctly?

curious....does sex sell to both men and women? Or do they just not care to reach the women?

in the past, they wanted a certain demo - men 18-49 or whatever because they were the ones with the expendable income. that thinking may be outdated, but i think it still drives the industry. except for certain female only products which still advertise heavily during soap operas (again outdated) and on lifetime and other chick networks. and these chick products are not usually sex driven ads, based on what i've seen when stuck watching a lifetime movie with the wife.
