He starred Gunsmoke, which was my favorite TV show before second grade. Curiously enough it was replaced as my favorite by Mission Impossible, starring Peter Graves, though I didn't know at the time they were brothers.

Job well done Marshal. He was the last of them. They are all gone now Arness, Amanda Blake, Milburn Stone, Dennis Weaver, Ken Curtis and Glen Strange (Sam the bartender). At least the reruns will be with us for a long time.

I better not forget Buck Taylor (Newley) and Burt Reynolds, They are still with us, I have two of Taylor's limited edition prints. He is a very successful western artist.
