Rush passed away today due to lung cancer. He was THE voice of conservatism in the US. I shudder to think where we would be as a country today if not for his voice. I was introduced to him early on, in 1991, and he showed me it was OK to believe the things I believed about this country and about God and that I was not alone in thinking that way. I am sure the gloating on the left will be insufferable and also horrible, I hope everyone gets to see who those people are. God speed Rush, I hope very much to see you again some day.
 
I remember I was reading The Way Things Ought To Be shortly after it was released, and took it with me to read while spending the day sitting for jury duty. I got called for a panel but was quickly dismissed, and have always giggled and thought it was because the plaintiff attorney saw the author of the book I was holding.

There were times I didn't agree with his approach but more often than not I agreed with his opinions. He was indeed the face of a large part of modern American history.

Rush helped us to know it was ok to believe in conservative values and personal responsibility.
And yes that we weren't alone.
I am not sure anyone else could have done that.
 
I’m going to miss Rush! He was such a powerful leader and had the greatest charisma of any talk show host. Nobody can replace him. At least the conservative movement is strong thanks to him with other members (Hannity, Levin, Carleson, O’Reilly, and all the podcasts out there, plus the Trump movement). I make no mention of the senators and congressman, most are not part of this movement. Maybe Cruz, Jordan and a few others.
 
I care about people and am not glad he died. I used to listen to him every day. I remember when Clinton was elected he started his show with "day 1 America held hostage, Day 2 America held hostage, etc. However, he told lies and helped lead us to where we are today. He was a liar. He said what he said to make money...which he made lots of....millions and millions of dollars. He got rich by telling lies and being racist and hating women. A horrible man. He cared more about making money than telling the truth. Guess what, Biden won the election fair and square...by 7 Million votes and by a landslide according to Trump (from 2016). I am not glad he is dead, but I am glad he is off radio. He was evil.

That's the difference right there, folks, between liberals and conservatives. None of us conservatives will go on a thread and say absolutely **** *** things like that about a liberal talk show host when he or she dies.

These libs love to hold all conservatives to some obscure standards that even none of their liberal icons can reach. However, they seem to ignore all of the latter. Libs still praise Ted Kennedy despite what he did.

You are wrong. I watch CNN, MSNBC and FOxNEWs. I want to be informed. I know a lie when I see it. Fox news and conservative radio tell lies all the time. Conservative news is the fake news. Donald Trump Lost The Election buy 7 million votes and by 306-232 electoral votes. A landslide by his words. Get over it and move on.

I support pro life, I do not want to get rid of the 2nd amendment, I do support lower taxes for the middle class, and I hate Trump with every bone in my body. I actually voted republican most of my life (and I am old) but Biden is our new hope for a great america. It is just so obvious to me.

Fox is as much apart of the lie as the rest of them. There are 6 companies that control the vast majority of the news. Fox is owned by one of the 6. Those 6 companies control the narration of what we hear and how we hear it. The 6 companies I'm referring to are: Comcast, Disney, 21st Century Fox, Time Warner, CBS, and Viacomm.
All 6 of these companies are part of the same Propaganda and misinformation to dupe uninformed people who choose to be sheep.

Do yourself a favor, find a news outlet that is outside of these companies and you might actually get real news.

Yes, there is hope in Biden. The takers have tremendous hope. Hope in redistribution of wealth from the producers to the takers. Hope in government control of our resources. Hope in more dark money. Hope we are told how to think and how to act. Hope we move much closer to communism and complete control. Hope that conservatives will be forced to submit to the new world order by the elitists in power.

The fact that he sniffs little girls? Dodged the draft 6 times? Lied about his education? Can't form coherent thoughts? Needs an earpiece so his handlers can tell him what to say? Wants males competing against females in sports, and allowed them in the military despite their psychological issues? Wants to raise taxes and increase regulations despite the economic lesson Trump just gave? Called Trump xenophobic when he tried to stop the spread of Covid? Is allowing illegals in the country? Has been wrong on every foreign policy decision per Robert Gates? Has been a career politician and never served in the military nor ran a business? Was smack in the middle of passing Obamacare using lies and obfuscation? Is/was involved in selling out America so his son can/could make money? I can go on if you want more examples.
